She's had a birthday shout hooray!

This little girl of mine turned 1 last week.  She's amazing!  She is always happy and beaming, unless she's sad.  There's not really an in between with her.  She's walking, does lots of babbling and pointing, eats whatever we put in front of her, loves to be chased, gets a twinkle in her eye when she knows she's pushing her boundaries (aka let me make sure you see me start the climb the stairs mom and then I'll go as fast as I can)  and absolutely loves Connor.  I can already assure you she is a people person.  You would think some tragic event happened whenever she gets left in the kitchen by herself.  It doesn't seem to matter who she's with, just as long as she's with someone.  She is such a fun little girl and it has been such a fun year with her. 

Amazing what a difference a year makes.

We went to NJ the next day because Ken and Kayln were there watching the Gonzalez kidlets.  Lucky girl got two celebrations.

Pretty sure this was the fastest I ever remember carving a pumpkin.  It may have had something to do with Jared's weapon of choice.  Check out the length of that thing.

10 Months Old

and what a gal she is.

She is so happy.  Her whole face lights up when she smiles.

She's pretty good at emptying out cupboards

An extremely rare moment caught on camera.  This only lasted a few minutes and I can count on one hand how many times she has done this once she was past the newborn stage.  Lucky Jared.

I just can't help myself.  The water and corn starch concoction is a must in this household.  And of course she loved it.  How could you not?
