Visitors from Utah

Ken and Kayln came for a visit. We loved having them here, especially Connor. He loved playing with Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma taught him lots of new tricks and he started calling Ken papa. So cute. It was great to have some company and get out and see the sights. Some of the weeks highlights include...

The Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum

A trip to the temple

A day in DC

Monticello

The Shenandoahs

Gettysburg

And of course I have to throw in some cute pictures of Connor

I ran a marathon!!!

I did, I did. All 26.2 miles. Was it fun? eh.... Will I do another one? eh.... Am I glad I did it? Most definitely. I completed it, the Atlantic City Marathon, in 3:58. My goal was under four hours, yahoo! I had to do a sprint at the end, but I made it. Jared and Connor ran the last three miles with me which was wonderful. I certainly feel like I know Atlantic City now. I went all over the island, including the famous Atlantic City board walk.
I also have to point out, I do realize that for someone who doesn't like pink I am wearing a lot of pink. It just worked out that way. This was my most comfortable running shirt, they only had pink shoes in my size, and a dear friend of mine could help but give me pink running shorts which also happened to be incredible comfy. But in case you were wondering, no I still am not a pink girl.
