Merry Christmas

We spent Christmas eve day in Fairview.  Of course the kids had a ball!

Christmas eve night was at home.  We played games and enjoyed time together as a family.  We thought Santa might like some variety so left cookie dough instead of cookies.

It was a very white Christmas.  We went to bed with no snow and woke up to a white winter wonderland.  When the kids sat on Santa's lap they asked him for... Connor: a animal balloon making kit (what? we convinced him that was too dangerous for Ethan so he switched to Minecraft and pinball monopoly)  Sierra: Princess dolls  Ethan: He just cried.  Santa delivered Minecraft, princess dolls and a teddy bear for Ethan.

December Highlights

Ethan's first snow adventures

Sierra was so excited we had matching church outfits
best cousins
My two penguin chicks sleeping in their penguin nests
Ethan was not so happy about meeting Santa
Sierra thought it was so great she could meet Mrs. Claus

Both kids had school programs

They sure do love their dad
I see this face a lot throughout the day

 Sierra had her dance recital

Connor got a little bored
She likes dance, but I'm not sure she loves it
lots of helping hands
Ethan is into apples these days.  He took Connor's off the table and went to town.  Who knew?

What a goof

Sierras 4th birthday!

It was a birthday full of princesses, and Sierra was thrilled about it.  Sierra is such a sweet girl.  She is the best big sister and always looking out for Ethan.  She has a bit of a temper...but mostly as sweet as can be.  She's quite strong willed, and if she doesn't want to do something, chances are she won't.  She has become a homebody and would rather stay home to play with Ethan and me than go to preschool or dance, even though she loves both.  Sierra is working hard to read, and is great at sounding out words...when she wants to of course!
