Ethan turns 1

Oh this Ethan boy of ours turned one.  The pictures say it all.  He is just as cute as can be, has a smile that can't be beat, and is such a joy to our family.  He started really walking this past week. He still prefers crawling but has started walking across the room.  He is known for his screams.  They are high pitch and LOUD!  They usually occur when he's hungry, which is often.  He loves all foods, is terrible during church, loves the stairs, giggles lots, plays hide and seek, crawls to Jared when he walks in the door after work, has very blonde hair, 7 teeth (4 top, 3 bottom and it drives Jared crazy they're lopsided), has finally become a great sleeper at night (not so much during the day), loves to go on hikes and loves playing with Connor and Sierra.

Party time!!!

Picking pinenuts

This was a first for the kids and me.  We've always been recipients of picked pine nuts but have never picked them ourselves.  It was great and I'd do it again in a heart beat.  Jared, Ken, Connor and Sierra slept a tent, while Kayln Ethan and I slept in the trailer.  I like this kind of camping!

Happy camper

Sad he can't eat rocks

No matter where we go Jared can always find a little creature
Sierra found a stick horse to ride
Connor loved playing under the tree
Smores!
Happy with his sticks

Life as of late

Ethan LOVES tomatoes and crawls straight to them when he's in the backyard
We got to meet up with the Greens, our "virginia family"
Ethan spilled oil all over my moms floor ruining her run
It's a dream shopping with just two kids now.  Oh how perspective changes
We made lots of apple sauce

Jared continues the tradition of sharing his cereal with the kids in the morning
Connor did awesome at this fun run
Crazy hair day!
My three handsome boys walking to church

St George

We headed to St George for Labor day with Wade's family.  We had a blast, our kids still love their cousins, Bryce's family came up for a night, we swam, we hiked, biked/ran, and played.

One of my favorite pictures EVER!

Everyone biked and I ran.  We also helped a guy who broke his collar bone.  Ouch!
Diamond mountain

So many gorgeous places to hike

He's a happy hiker
Sand dunes were a hit!

Ethan was sad he couldn't eat the sand

We swam and swam and swam
