Chicago

Connor and I had to get one last flight in before he turned two, so we headed to Chicago for a visit with the Walkers. I think it's impossible to describe how much fun Connor had with his cousins. He absolutely loved having playmates. I love trips where you can just go hang out and not have to worry about all the places you have to go and things you have to see. This was that kinda trip and it was great.

We spent lots of time at the park
oh the swings(note to self, don't put toddler down twirly slide with steep slope. This was not the picture I was expecting. Sorry Connor.)

He loved all the new toys and thought this one was especially fun to climb in

How cute is this picture?

Do you know how hard it was to get this picture?

I made Michelle workout with me in the mornings. Andrew loved to join us. And yes, those are soup cans we're using as weights.

Aren't they cute little cousins?
Connor never gave Sarah a hug back. Sad.
Connor and Sarah got along quite well. Unless they were in the same shopping cart. Sarah didn't like Connor to touch her and this is where Connor discovered how to tease his cousin. This was the funniest part about Chicago. Connor learned he could annoy his cousins and found it to be quite amusing. As is typical with Connor, you could see the whole thought process going on in his head. "If I touch Andrew's head he jerks away and yells. Let me try this again. Same reaction. Very interesting. I better try again to make sure. Yep, works every time." It was so funny to watch this interaction. I finally had to be the parent and tell Connor it's not nice to tease cousins.
