Except he really isn't a happy sleeper. He's actually a really bad sleeper.

Jazz game
Our nice neighbor, who we don't even know well yet, knocked on our door the other day and asked if we wanted their jazz tickets for the next night. Growing up my parents had season tickets to the jazz games. I loved going! So many good memories their, especially with Katie. There was no way I could turn down the tickets (which also happened to be awesome seats). We tried to work it out so Jared and I could go, but babysitters are harder to get on a Wednesday night than you might think. Connor and I went on a date instead and it was great! I took Connor knowing that the basketball wouldn't mean that much to him, but it would be an experience he'd remember. I'd say it was mission accomplished. The memories started from the get go with a ride on trax to the stadium. They carried on throughout the night with a Jazz t-shirt purchase, a churro and sprite, and watching the Bear and his silly mascot friends. He was also a big fan of the scoreboard and keeping track of points.

St George
My parents bought a town house in Coral Canyon last year. We had heard it was wonderful, but were yet to experience it ourselves. The week after Christmas seemed like the perfect time to try it out. I asked my mom if we could use it. She said they would be there for their annual new years golf weekend, but we were welcome to join them. I then asked if I could invite Bryce and Karen's family since we hadn't seen them since moving back. It might not have been the quite New Years weekend my parents were expecting to have.
The rumors were true. It is wonderful down there. We look forward to many more adventures down south.
This was our first road trip in the mini van. It was pretty great. I have to say I'm still a little sad when I look out my kitchen window and see a van in our driveway, but the sadness goes away once I'm inside.
We loved the heat pools in the 30 degree weather. I have a confession, I didn't test them out this trip. Someone had to stay out with Ethan.
We spent one morning climbing on rocks
And another morning at the St George kids museum

Christmas eve and Christmas
We had a mellow Christmas Eve at home. It was nice to have a peaceful night before the chaos began.
Next we headed to Fairview for the night.
We played games and watch a Christmas movie |
some of us cried |
cookies and milk for Santa |
Both kids got what they wanted from Santa. Connor got his round pattern play and Sierra got her light puzzle. |

Ethan 2 months
Ethan is growing like a weed. He was 24in long and 12lb 2oz at his 2 month check up. That puts him in the 85th percentile for height and 60 percentile for weight. When I was nursing Connor my mom said I must be making skim milk. Maybe I'm making whole milk for Ethan. Just look at those cheeks!
December Events
The month of December is always fun, and this year was no exception. Some of the highlights.
Jared grew this out for "Movember" and slowly shaved it away one day at a time |
This is Fu Manchu day |
We thoroughly enjoyed the first snow storm |
Snuggling by the tree was a highlight |
And of course we decorated a gingerbread house. Well, Connor decorated, Sierra ate. |
